Jaipur: As the Rajya Sabha elections in Rajasthan are approaching, the political ruckus is getting intensified. In this sequence, a BJP MLA is being summoned to the police station. This MLA is Chandrakanta Meghwal from Kota Keshavarayapatan. A notice has been issued to Chandrakanta in an old 2017 case. In this notice pasted at his house, he was asked to appear before the Mahavir Nagar police station by 11 am on Tuesday.

It is being speculated that these tactics are being used by the Gehlot government to suppress the BJP MLAs ahead of the voting for the Rajya Sabha elections. Notice has been issued to the MLA under section 41A. At the same time, MLA Chandrakanta Meghwal says that she is currently in Jaipur barricade, so she cannot appear in the police station.

At the same time, politics has intensified on the notice issued to MLA Chandrakanta Meghwal. BJP leaders have denied this action and said that the Congress government is constantly targeting BJP leaders and MLAs. Before the Rajya Sabha elections, the Congress government is adopting such tactics. The party leaders have lodged their protest, blaming the action being taken against the BJP MLA wrong.
