Jaipur: The Ashok Gehlot government in Rajasthan has decided to open schools for classes 10 to 12 from February 1. While schools will be started for classes 6 to 9 from February 10. The Gehlot government has made this announcement on Friday in view of the declining corona cases in the state. However, schools will have to continue the option of studying online.

The Congress government in Rajasthan has issued new corona guidelines on Friday. On the one hand, where schools have been announced to open, the weekend curfew has also been abolished. CM Gehlot tweeted about this, he said, "The mental and physical development of children is being affected due to the closure of schools due to Covid. In such a situation, there is a need to start educational activities from February 1 to class 10 to 12 in schools in urban areas and from February 10 to class 6 to 9, ending weekend curfew, opening of commercial establishments till 10 pm and giving relaxation in other restrictions. The decision has been taken.''

As per the guidelines issued by Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Abhay Kumar, the students will be allowed after providing parents/guardians agreement. Admission to the school will be granted only after the written consent of the guardian. At the same time, it has been decided to end the weekend curfew, relax other restrictions including the opening of business establishments till 10 pm.
