Udaipur: A teacher of a government school located in Paluna, under the Jawaramines Police Station area of Udaipur district of Rajasthan, was brutally slit with a sword. Investigation has revealed that the victim is murdered by the husband of the younger sister of the teacher. The accused killed the teacher simply because his wife had been living in an undisclosed location for two months and the accused suspected that the teacher and his family had hidden his wife. The accused is absconding since the incident.

According to the police sessions, Chhani resident Neetu daughter Hiralal Meena, who used to work in Paluna School in the Javarmines area. It was only after leaving the school in the afternoon that at the same time, a rogue riding in a van came and talked to the teacher Neetu first and after this, the accused pulled out a sword and attacked the teacher, causing the teacher's neck. Several wounds occurred on her face and chest and she died on the spot itself.

When other people present there saw this, they got scared and immediately informed the police. On receiving the information, Additional Superintendent of Police Attaurrahman, Deputy Superintendent of Police Ratan Chawla, Javar Mines Police Officer Bharat Yogi reached the spot with the police force, during which a large number of people had gathered on the spot. The police questioned the people present there. The body was sent for post mortem to MB Hospital in Udaipur. The family of the deceased lodged a murder case against Chhani, a resident of Kana Meena, a young man's son Deva.
