Jaipur: Amidst scorching heat in Rajasthan, the pre-monsoon has hit on Monday. In Rajasthan, Barmer received the first monsoon rains for about six hours. The water dropped so much that the situation got worse. There was waterlogging on the roads, many houses and shops were flooded, many vehicles were washed away, many village links have been cut off from the main road.

It started raining around 5 pm, which continued till 11 pm. Due to the rain, the entire city's electricity has been cut off for 5 hours. According to the information, the maximum damage has been caused in Chauhatan town and its surrounding areas along the border of the Barmer district. Due to torrential rains, water coming from the mountains entered the areas of the lower settlement. 4 feet of water also entered the deputy's office. Cars were submerged in water in many areas.

The water drain overflowed on Chauhatan Road, after which the administration started the work of draining out the water by installing JCB. Handma and Ramsar Gadra Road road roads along with Barmer Munabao road were washed away in water, following which the villages of these areas have been completely cut off from connectivity.
