Veteran actor Rajit Kapur recently stated that the running season (third) of the Film Festival that is the Kashmir World Film Festival is motivating and inspiring the youth immensely in the Kashmir Valley and is paving way for cinema-love in their minds.

 

As quoted by the ANI, Rajat asserted, "A festival like this holds great importance because since a long time there has not been a film culture in the Valley. So, in a way it is inspiring and motivating the young generation to create the love for cinema in them. My support will always be there for them,"

 

He also said the Film Festival is a way to inculcate the love for cinema in the minds of the youth. 
the Initiative has been brought forward by Mushtaq Ali Ahmad Khan, who is the Chairman of Actor's Creative Theater (ACT) which is an organization working in the field of Art, Film, and Literature.
The Festival intends at encouraging the youth towards movies and literature.

 

A visitor at the festival as quoted by the ANI said, "It's a really great feeling coming back to Kashmir. I came here four years ago. The best part is that the beauty of this place is still intact. This film festival is a very unique initiative. Besides commercial cinema, people get to see documentaries and short films here." 

 

Rajat was recently seen playing Alia's father in 'Raazi'.

 

A student appreciated the Initiative and shared, "It's a really great feeling to attend the festival. Through this, we students are all able to see different kinds of movies. One can also enjoy the beauty of the valley."
