The makers of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0 are all set to promote their film and plan of releasing one poster daily with the countdown has in fact raised excitement of fans.
2.0 is a sci-fi venture and it is scheduled to hit the big screens on November 29. It has already achieved a milestone before its release. The pre-release theatrical advance of 2.0 has received around Rs 120 crore. This amount is the highest for any Tamil cinema.
Actually, it is the first Kollywood film to cross the Rs 100 crore marks.
To this kind of response, fans are definitely expecting 2.0 to smash all records and set new standards at the Box office ticket windows.
The film has the whoping budget of Rs 600 crore and it is the most expensive Indian film ever. The movie will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi versions while Karan Johar will present the Hindi version under his banner Dharma Productions.
Reports suggested that it is the first Indian film, which is entirely shot in 3D. It is produced under the banner of Lyca Productions and also stars Amy Jackson, Adil Hussain and Sudhanshu Pandey in key roles.
