Rajinikanth after getting a summon from Arun Jagadishan commission, he has sought relief from appearing before the commission himself. Rajinikanth was asked by Justice Aruna Jagadishan Commission to appear before him. This commission is investigating the Tuticorin police firing. Rajinikanth has filed an affidavit in which he has sought relief from going before the commission and wishes to put an affidavit to get the list of questions asked by the commission. Rajni said in his affidavit that the public will face trouble if he himself goes for the hearing. Justice Arun Jagadishan ordered Rajinikanth to appear before the commission. Rajni is to appear before the commission on 25 February. This order was given to Rajni to investigate the Tuticorin case, visit his Tuticorin and inquire into the incident there. Advocate Elam Bharti, Rajinikanth's lawyer, has confirmed the details of affidavit during a phone conversation with Aaj Tak.
