Rajkumar Hirani aka Raju Hirani is celebrating his birthday today. He is an Indian film director, screenwriter and film editor. He has directed super hit films like Munnabhai MBBS, Lage Raho Munnabhai, 3 Idiots, PK. All his films have been a big hit at the box office. Rajkumar Hirani was born in a Sindhi family in Nagpur.

His father's name is Suresh Hirani. Talking about his studies, Rajkumar studied at St. Francis DeSales High School, Nagpur, Maharashtra. He completed his Bachelor of Commerce. His family wanted him to become a chartered accountant but from the beginning, his inclination was towards theatre and films. He started joining Hindi theatre during college days and after that, he did a course of editing from Film and Television Institute of India, Pune.

He is married to Manjeet Hirani and they have a boy named Veer Hirani. Rajkumar's first film as a director was 'Munnabhai MBBS' which was a huge success. After that people gave love to Rajkumar fiercely and due to this love, today he has become a known name. He has also directed the film '3 Idiots' and today due to his films he is a well-known director.
