One of the most popular horror comedies in Bollywood Stree’s sequence shooting will starts soon. Recently Sharadha Kapoor shared her excitement about ‘Stree 2’, Now her co-star Rajkummar Rao also confirmed the same. Amar Kaushik has even locked the script of the sequel.
Rajkummar is currently promoting his upcoming film shared that Stree 2 will happen soon, and there definitely is a possibility of getting this horror universe made. During the promotional event he said, “Bala toh nahin aa payega horror mein. But haan kuch aur kar lenge uske saath, Ayushmann ke saath tab tak kuch aur ho jayega, I am sure. But yeah, it’s exciting. I would love to be a part of it.”
Shraddha Kapoor had taken to her Instagram handle and shared a BTS video of the Bhediya’s dance track Thumkeshwari, where she had a cameo. She says in the video, “Stree is back. Super vibe, it’s so nice to be back on set. It’s so exciting for me because we are going to start Stree 2 very very soon,".
According to the information, Varun Dhawan is also expected to have a role to play in Stree 2. A source said, “The story of Bhediya eventually leads to Stree and that would set the ball rolling for Maddock’s unique horror-comedy universe.”
On the work front, Rajkummar Rao will be seen in Vasan Bala’s comedy-drama film Monica, O My Darling. The film also stars Radhika Apte and Huma Qureshi in lead roles. The movie is all set to hit the big screens on November 11, 2022.
