Lucknow: Campaigning is in the final stages for the first phase of polling in view of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. On Saturday, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh campaigned for the BJP in Mathura in western Uttar Pradesh. Polling will be held here on February 10 for the first phase of assembly elections. The Defence Minister raised the issue of the Galvan Conflict and targeted former Congress Party President Rahul Gandhi.

He said he does not believe in the valour of Indian soldiers, instead, he trusts the Chinese media more. Addressing a public meeting during the election campaign in Mathura on Saturday, he said, "We have given a message to the world that India is no longer a weak country. We can cross the border and attack. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said this about the June 2020 Galvan clash in the eastern Ladakh sector.''

He said that former Congress president Rahul Gandhi said that many Indian soldiers were killed in Galvan and some in China. He believed in the Chinese media. Australian media reported that 38 to 50 Chinese were killed. Rahul Gandhi does not believe in the bravery of our army personnel. Singh further said that as the Defence Minister, he firmly believes that no one can attack India's pride.
