New Delhi: Today is the 35th day of the farmers' protest on different frontiers of Delhi against the agricultural laws brought by the central government. The seventh round of talks is going to take place today after a long gap between the government and the farmers. Meanwhile, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has given his opinion in an interview on farmers and agricultural laws.

He has said that the government will not break its promise given on the minimum support price (MSP). He also attacked the opposition. He said, "I know more about farming than Rahul Gandhi because I was born from the womb of the farmer mother.'' The Defense Minister has said, “These three laws related to agriculture have been made keeping in mind the interests of the farmers. We have increased the MSP significantly compared to previous governments. Through these three laws, we have made every effort to increase the income of farmers by two to three times."

He also said, "The talks are going on, I am sure a solution will come out of this. I beg the farmers. I have seen these laws, I have also been the Minister of Agriculture, so I say that these laws are for the benefit of the farmers." Rajnath further said, "Farmers should use this law for at least 2 years to see how useful this law is. Then if you feel that there is a need to amend the law, then our government can make changes. Even today, they feel that if we need amendment then we are ready."
