New Delhi: Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will inaugurate the 26th Hunar Haat in the country's capital Delhi on Sunday. Artists, craftsmen, and artisans from all over the country will participate in this event. According to the statement issued by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, the inaugural function of Hunar Haat organized at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium will also be attended by Union Minister of Shipping and Waterways, Mansukh Mandaviya and MP Meenakshi Lekhi.

The 26th Hunar Haat of indigenous artisans and craftsmen is being organized by the Ministry with the theme of Vocal for Local from February 20 to March 1, 2021. Union Minister for Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has told that in this Hunar Haat organized at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir are included in the country. More than 600 artisans, craftsmen, artisans from over 31 states/union territories are participating with fantastic indigenous products.

Naqvi further said that under one roof in Hunar Haat, you will get to see and buy handmade indigenous rare products from different corners of the country. He has said that people will be able to enjoy traditional delicious dishes from all the provinces and regions of the country in the cookery of Hunar Haat, as well as enjoy various cultural, song and music programs of famous artists of the country.
