Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray had given a statement over film city in UP. Now on the same statement, chairman of UP Film Development Council and comedian Raju Srivastava has shared his opinion. Recently he said, 'The work of making a film city in Uttar Pradesh is not being done to compete with anyone. This is being done to provide employment.
Talking to a website, Raju Srivastava said, 'CM Yogi Adityanath has reached the Film City, looking for employment opportunities. In UP, big actors have been shooting before and because of the number of religious and delightful places here. There are places like Kashi Vishwanath, Taj Mahal, Ganga Ghat here.
Apart from this, he also said, 'UP should have 4-4 film cities. The film industry is not the same thing that someone is carrying here and there. If Bollywood has the facility, then sometimes it shoots in the film studios of Hyderabad, sometimes in Bangkok, sometimes in Goa, sometimes in UP. Apart from this, he also said that, 'We want to have a film studio or real locations in UP, where Marathi films are also made, English films are made and other languages are also made. Just like it is in Hyderabad, in Chennai, the film city is being built in Noida for no competition.
