NEW DELHI: The Rajya Sabha is set to discuss the Jammu and Kashmir budget for 2022-23 on Monday, March 21.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the 'Jammu and Kashmir Appropriation Bill, 2022' and 'The Appropriation Bill, 2022' to the Upper House of Parliament for discussion. The Finance Minister will also introduce 'The Allocation (No.3) Bill, 2022' to authorise the payment and appropriation of certain additional sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of India for the services of the fiscal year 2021-22, as passed by the Lok Sabha.

The union territory's budget was presented to and approved by the Lok Sabha on March 14. Reports from various department-related parliamentary standing committees will be tabled, and ministers will lay papers pertaining to various ministries.
