Monsoon session: Rajya Sabha adjourned again, Rahul Gandhi arrives in Parliament on tractor

New Delhi: There has been a lot of uproar in the monsoon session of Parliament and not a single day has parliament been able to function properly. In the first week of the session, both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha could not function properly for a single day. Both the Houses are also expected to witness an uproar on Monday. The opposition has launched a front against the government over pegasus espionage, farmers' agitation, and media raids.

As per the notice issued by Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, the government has listed five ordinances, homoeopathy central council (amendment) ordinance, Indian medical central council (amendment) ordinance, air quality management commission ordinance in the national capital region and surrounding areas, insolvency and bankruptcy code (amendment) ordinance and necessary defence services ordinance for this week's proceedings. Meanwhile, the Rajya Sabha has been adjourned till 12 noon amid the uproar. The Opposition was constantly demanding a discussion on the Pegasus issue. There was a lot of sloganeering.

 

Earlier, former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi reached Parliament by a tracker in support of farmers. He said he is going to Parliament with the message of farmers. The Government has to listen to the voice of the farmers. The Government is taking away the rights of the farmers. They are being suppressed.
