Chandigarh: Indian Farmers Union (Bhakiu) spokesperson and leading leader of the farmers' movement Rakesh Tikait Manohar Lal Khattar seems to be furious with the government over lathicharge on farmers in Hisar, Haryana. Rakesh Tikait has termed the incident as unfortunate and said he will make his arrest if required.

In a tweet, Tikait said that the agitator's path can not be stopped by bullets and sticks. Talking about farmers who have been agitating against the Central Government's 3 agricultural laws on the borders of Delhi for more than 5 months, he says that farmers are not afraid. Addressing the farmers protesting against lathicharge, Tikait said, "If we have to stay here, we will stay, if we have to make arrests, they will also give it. If they want to resort to lathicharge, do it. We are sitting for the treatment of this regime. The Government will not accept without treatment. They were treated in many places".

Rakesh Tikait said that in uttar pradesh panchayat elections, yogi government won 400 of its candidates even after "cheating". He said this is not the first incident of lathicharge on farmers, even before the government has resorted to lathicharge on farmers.
