New Delhi: The Bharatiya Kisan Union and other farmers' organisations have been consistently opposing 3 agricultural laws brought by the Modi government at the Centre, though now the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader and spokesperson Rakesh Tikait seems to be in a major setback. In fact, there are reports that his right-hand leader has now joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

According to the information received, it is reported that Rakesh Tikait's right hand Raju Ahlawat, considered a pillar of the Kisan Union, have taken over the BJP.  Pawan Pandit has also taken to social media to share the news.  He has written that now all certificates of his being Jat saheb and Kisan can be cancelled at any time. BJP's UP state president Swatanter Dev Singh has given Ahlawat membership of the BJP.

Rakesh Tikait has been attacking the government from the very beginning and he has always opposed the policies of the government, while on the other hand, Tikait is adamant on the demand of the government to return the laws brought to the farmers by leading the Kisan movement. Thousands of farmers, led by Tikait, have been sitting on the borders of Delhi for more than 1 year.
