LUCKNOW: Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is not going to face any problem in the UP elections as their 'Chacha Jaan' (Owaisi) has come to UP. Tikait further said that 'Asaduddin Owaisi has come, he will admit BJP only after winning.' This statement of Tikait has come after the statement in which CM Yogi used the word 'Abba Jaan.'

It is noteworthy that while addressing a program in Kushinagar last Sunday, CM Yogi Adityanath had asked the audience whether they were getting ration and from where they were getting this ration before 2017? CM Yogi had said that 'Because then people called 'Abba Jaan' used to eat ration.' At the same time, today AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi, when asked about the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, said that he is planning to field candidates in about 100 seats out of 403 seats in UP.

When he was questioned about the criticism he has been facing on the inclusion of people with a criminal history like Atiq Ahmed in the party, Owaisi replied, 'Aur Kya Pragya Thakur Doodh Ki Dhuli Hai?' Owaisi also alleged that several MLAs of Bihar CM Nitish Kumar's party JDU, BJP, and its allies have criminal cases registered against them.
