Indian women's weightlifter Rakhi Haldar (64 kg) won a bronze medal in the Qatar International Cup and also set two new national records. The Commonwealth Championship champions have changed their snaps and overall weight to a great extent in their own best. He lifted a total of 218 kg with 95 kg in snatch and 123 kg in clean and jerk.

Rakhi won the yellow medal by lifting 214 kg (94 kg +120 kg) in the Commonwealth Championships, according to Media Re [port. Indian players finished their campaign with a total of three medals in this silver level Olympic qualifying event. Former world champion Mirabai Chanu won the gold medal while the young Jeremy Lalrinuga won the silver medal. The points of this tournament will be very important while preparing the cut for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Let us tell you that in order to qualify for the Olympics, a weightlifter must participate in at least one event in each of the three six-month periods (November 2018 to April 2020) and a total of six events.
