Rakhi Sawant needs no introduction. She is one of the popular faces in Bollywood and the Television Industry. The actress has worked in many films and Television serials. The actress is celebrating her Birthday today. On her Birthday let us have a look on her life.  Rakhi has worked in regional languages like Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Telugu, and Tamil.

Rakhi was born on 25 November 1978 in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. Her father worked as a constable in the Mumbai Police. Her family background is a Maharashtrian Hindu Family. Her original name is Neeru Bheda. Rakhi once  said in an interview that girls were kept under a lot of pressure in her house. Once at the age of 11, she had gone to play Dandiya. Her mother doesn’t want her to dance. She cut her hair to punish her. After this, her maternal uncle hit him so much that she got stitches in her hand.

Rakhi Sawant also once revealed that her mother used to work as a nurse in the hospital. Even after working in the hospital, there was a shortage of food and drink in his house. Rakhi's mother used to pick up the garbage of the patients in the hospital. Rakhi said that there was a problem even in getting daily food and that's why they used to eat leftover food many times. At the age of 10, Rakhi Sawant served food at Anil and Tina Ambani's wedding for just Rs 50 a day. Rakhi Sawant herself in an interview revealed this. She had said that she used to live in a chawl and at that time it was very important for her to go to earn money.

On the work front, Rakhi Sawant was featured in Bigg Boss season 1 as a contestant. It is a very popular Indian reality show. She was also a finalist in the Bigg Boss-14 in 2020. She started her career in 1997. Sawant used to get smaller roles in the films at the beginning. She appeared in her first film called Agnichakra under the banner of Ruhi Sawant. Sawant's fame rose when Director Suneel Darshan cast Rakhi in an item songs film called Jhoru Ka Ghulam. Her opposite in that song was famous and legendary actor Govinda. She had played a role in a film called Jish Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hai and Yeh Raaste Hain Pyar Ke.
