A prayer meet was organised on April 1 for late Pratyusha Banerjee by her parents and friend Kamya Punjabi. On the same day, Kamya released Pratyusha's short film also.

Recently when Rakhi was asked for not attending prayer meet, she said, "You can check both my phones. I have not received any invitation and no one told me anything."

About Pratyusha, "She was a lovely girl. She was my friend, she was a very nice girl. We all miss her. The industry and television misses her," she said.

Rakhi added, "I feel a lot of sadness when I think of her and I also feel that she should not have done something like this. She should have fought through it. Look at me! Even I am a woman. I have been through so many grave situations. For my family and to be where I am, I have had to go through many hurdles and difficulties. But I did not lose my courage."

When Rakhi was asked what she would like to tell the younger generation, "I don't understand why people commit suicide? Their life is not theirs. It's God's and their parents'. Their parents spend so much money and provide them with education. And the same kids will get into depression over a girl or drugs and end up committing suicide. Just imagine what the parents will go through. Why do they lose their courage so easily? Why can't they be brave? One should be brave. It's life, there will be ups and downs. It's only when you are down, that you get the strength to get back up. Like I said, you should see my life. Despite being through 100 hurdles, I have stood up for myself. I don't consider myself to be less than Jhansi ki Rani. In the Panipat war, she was a lone woman while she had thousands of enemies. Same way, even I have a thousand enemies in my fight. That was the war of Panipat, mine is the war of Ludhiana," she said.
