Chiranjeevi, the megastar of Tollywood, is celebrating 43 years in the industry. On that note, son Ram Charan resorted to social media to convey his wishes by sharing photographs of his Appa. Sharing a collage photo of his dad Chiranjeevi from his first and latest film, he wrote, "43 years and still counting! My Appa @KChiruTweets."

Ram Charan's collage photo features Chiranjeevi from his debut film Pranam Khareedu, and the most recent one is from Acharya, in which the father and son duo share screen space for the first time.

Chiranjeevi posted a throwback photo from his debut film Pranam Khareedu on Wednesday, along with a touching letter dedicated to all of his admirers. The actor said on the occasion of his 43rd year in Tollywood, "I was born as a person on August 22nd. As an actor, I was born on September 22nd. I'd want to thank everyone in the crowd who has supported me since then. I'd want to express my gratitude to my most ardent supporters." The tweet quickly went viral, since there is no need to emphasize the megastar's massive following base among Telugu fans.

Meanwhile, the arrival of Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan, a father-son combination, on the big screen has sparked even more excitement among the public. Despite the fact that Chiranjeevi made cameo appearances in a few of Ram Charan's films and the latter became a producer for his father's recent flicks, the two never shared screen time. Mega fans' desire of seeing the father and son pair will come true with Acharya. Acharya, directed by Siva Koratala and starring Kajal Aggarwal, Pooja Hegde, and Sonu Sood, is billed as a sociopolitical film.
