Rajamouli is receiving all the praise for his RRR. The film has won some of the most prestigious awards in the entertainment industry. RRR after winning the best original song award at the Golden globes won the Critics' Choice Award for Best Foreign Language Film. The film also won the Best song award for Naatu Naatu. Not only Indian but Hollywood celebrities are also showering their love on RRR director.

A new video of James Cameron and Rajamouli is doing rounds on internet. They could be seen in a discussion, as Rajamouli expressed his love for the Hollywood filmmaker's work saying, "I saw all your movies... Big inspiration. From Terminator, Avatar, Titanic...Everything. Loved your work." Rajamouli says, "Thank you. That's right. Now watching your characters...It's just like such a feeling to watch them. And the setup... Your fire, water story. Reveal after reveal. And then you show what happened in the back story. It's like all of them are a homely setup. Why he's doing what he's doing and the twists and turns and the friendship and eventually it gets to a point that where he can't even kill him when the other reverses...It's just so, so powerful."

Filmmaker Ram Gopal sharing the video wrotre, "From Dada Sahab Phalke onwards till now, no one in the history of Indian cinema including @ssrajamouli could have imagined that an Indian director someday will go through this moment. Hey @ssrajamouli U basically SURPASSED every filmmaker from #KaAsif who made #MughaleAzam till #RameshSippy who made #Sholay and also the likes of Aditya Chopras, Karan Johars and the bhansalis of India and I want to suck ur little toe for that." He added, "And sir @ssrajamouli, please increase ur security because there is a bunch of film makers in india who out of pure jealousy formed an assassination squad to kill you , of which I am also a part ..Am just spilling out the secret because I am 4 drinks down."

Speaking of RRR, it is a fictional story set in the 1920s pre-independent era and is based on the lives of two real heroes and well-known revolutionaries – Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. While Ram Charan played Ram, NTR was seen as Bheem. The film has grossed over Rs. 1200 crore worldwide during its theatrical run.
