Lucknow: Preparations are being made for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. On Friday, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra General Secretary Champat Rai held a press conference in Lucknow. Giving information, he has said that now a contact campaign will be conducted across the country, in which information will be given to the people regarding the history of birthplace.

Champat Rai has told that at least half of the country's population will be approached from house to house in every part of the country to make them aware of the historical reality of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple. With this, the society will be given literature to read in relation to Ram Janmabhoomi. Champat Rai said that the Ram temple is a temple of pride and identity. The country wants to defeat the signs of slavery, our future generations should not see the memory of slavery, this is our endeavour. The target is to reach 50 crore people under this campaign, this work will take about 3-4 lakh workers.

Champat Rai said that earlier this temple was thought of as small, but the Supreme Court has given 70 acres of land to the trust and now it is being given a big form. He told that the length of the 3-storey temple will be 360 feet, width 265 feet, while the height of the peak from the ground floor will be 161 feet.
