Ram Navami is one of the most auspicious festivals of Hindus that is observed on the Navami tithi of Chaitra month Shukla paksha. It is on this day, Lord Rama was born to king Dashrath and Kaushalya.  Shri Rama was born in the Suryavanshi Ikshavaku Dynasty family; born to King Dasharatha and his first Queen Kaushalya in the Treta Yuga. He was known worldwide as Raja Ram by his subjects in the Kingdom.

However, this year due to the ongoing second rise of pandemic, the devotees will not be allowed at the temples, but they can witness the celebrations and festivities of Ram Janmotsav at these three temples virtually. Dedicated to Lord Rama, these temples are believed to be the most sacred shrines of Lord Rama in Maharashtra.

On this auspicious festival, the devotees offer prayers to the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishu i.e. Lord Ram. This year, Ram Navami is being celebrated on April 21. The ninth day or Navami Tithi is celebrated across the country and people celebrate the festival with much enthusiasm and joyfulness.
