Children are small and have the least knowledge about the religion, this is the best time to mould them and dwell a feeling of love amongst them for their religion and their culture.
There are a few things every parent would want their children to know about Ramzan.

1. Ramazan is the ninth month of Islamic calendar of Muslims.
This is the best way to explain them about the Islamic calendar, events and happenings.


2.Fasting
Fasting is farz on every healthy adult . the people have to fast from sunrise to sunset and keep away from all the temptations of the world.


 3. Quran was revealed during this month
The month is believed to be the one when the holy Quran was reviled to prophet Mohammad. This month should have a recitation of Quran in abundance.


4.sawaab is increased by 70%
Those who pray during this month get an elation of sawaab during this month and it is advised to pray the most possible in this month.


5.laila-tul-qasr
 The night is considered to be really holy and praying in this night exempts you from the day of salvation.


6.eid-ul-fitr
this marks as the end of the complete month’s fasting and is a celebration of complete three days.


7.lailatul jaiza
this is the night just before eid, this marks as all the accounts of Roza, zakat, tarawih to be sealed.


8.Charity
One of the key components of Ramazan is zakat, giving alms to needy and making charity is all that we need to teach our community people for a better society.


9.moon sighting
The month of Ramazan starts only after witnessing the crescent moon which marks the arrival of Ramazan.


10.children do not have to fast
The children do not have to fast, they start fasting only after a particular period of time. But they should be made aware that in the coming years they have to do what their elders have been doing.
