Kolkata: Ramakrishna Math and Mission order’s President Swami Atmasthananda’s health condition is not well and he is hospitalized and going through treatment.

Swam, Suhitananda, the mission secretary said in his statement, "He had fever recently owing to infection in chest and urinary tract. A team of specialist doctors is monitoring his condition which is now critical,"

The Swami has been going through cure for obstacles related to old age for the last one year at the same facility.

Swami Atmasthananda was elected 15th President of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission in 2007.PMO, who believes the Swami as his 'guru', had on April 17 met him in the hospital.
