The popular TV shows have innumerable stories of the shooting of Ramayana and all of them are quite interesting. When a crow shot a special episode of Ramayana. It is known that when Lord Shiva was narrating the story of Lord Rama and Parvati, Kagbhusundi ji was sitting secretly behind. He narrated this story in the General Assembly of birds and in this way, it reached Saint Tulsidas. There is a small sequence in the Ramayana that once a small boy in the palace of Dasharatha who was the incarnation of Vishnu. Kagbhusundi went and snatched the bread of that child. Prem Sagar told in an interview that his father Ramanand Sagar had thought about this anecdote but he could not understand how to shoot it. He was shooting in Umargaon at that time. The place was Vrindavan Studio. There were many trees at this place and all the crows started shouting as the sunset in the evening. Ramanand Sagar put the whole unit to work that catches the crow, we need a crow for the morning shoot. Catching a crow is not easy. Everyone gave a lot of ideas about this, but not a single crow was caught. On the other hand, somehow, 4 crows were caught by 12 o'clock in the night. At night, he was tied to an aluminium chain due to safety. The crows started trying to fly with these chains and made wild noise. The shooting was to start at 9 am.

When caught ravens were seen, 3 of them had fled. There was only one left. The next week, this episode was telecasted on Doordarshan. Ramanand Sagar, who was not disturbed, was seen under some tension that day. Eventually, a smile appeared on his face. He got up and everything was prepared from light to camera. The child was placed and then Ramanand Sagar said wholeheartedly, "Call Kagbhusundi Ji." Prem Sagar told that the crow was making so much noise that the entire studio was buzzing. After this Ramananda went to Crows and greeted him spiritually. He said, "Hey Kagbhusundi Ji. I am in trouble. Help me right there. We have to go to the episode next week. Millions of people will watch."
