Sunil Lahiri told that when Guru Vashisht was shooting, he was trying to make him laugh by making a strange appearance. Due to this many times, the scene had to be re-shot. Sunil says that due to this retake Ramanand Sagar was angry and he asked why he was laughing so much. He did not take Sunil's name, instead, he said that this beard is making him laugh.
