Fans eagerly waiting for Period drama movies. In such a situation, Madhu Mantena is also bringing the pair of Ram-Sita on a big screen in a different avatar. He had announced Ramayana 3D  some time back. Deepika Padukone will be seen in the role of Sita in this film and as per reports, Hrithik Roshan is to appear in the role of Ram. But Madhu Mantena seems to have his new Ram. Now the actor of the South Indian film industry is going to appear in this movie along with Deepika.

According to reports, Telugu actor Mahesh Babu may appear in the role of Prabhu Sri Ram. But according to a report received, Mahesh Babu's team has denied that he has not been approached for the film. If Mahesh Babu says yes to the film Ramayana, it will be the actor's Bollywood debut film. He has been approached for Hindi movies many times but each time he refuses. This time it has to be seen whether he will become Ram with Deepika or not.

Madhu Mantena also approached Prabhas for the role of Ram, but he is already playing the role of Ram in Om Raut's film Adipurush. Madhu Mantena announced 3D Ramayana as soon as Adipurush was announced. He has got producers for the film. The team of Ramayana is searching for an actor who can play the role of Ram and Mahesh Babu fits into this role.
