Ramayana, directed by Ramanand Sagar, is being telecasted on Star Plus after Doordarshan. Actor Sunil Lahiri, who was seen in the role of Laxman in the show, is sharing the stories of Behind the Scene with fans on Twitter these days. Sunil has again shared the story from behind the shooting. Sunil Lahiri shares the first story of the river in the video. Because of not being able to hear the voice of the director, they go much further in the river. Another story is that Arya Sumant's torn off explodes during the scene. Sunil said- We go in a boat. In which Sita and Ram were sitting.
Sagar Saheb had said that you should paddle the boat till I say cut. I went on paddling it and it was too late. Then when I looked back, I came to know that Ramanand ji had said cut but I did not listen. By that time half the unit had gone. We got stuck. We called for help. Then two people came. I thought that it would not provide a good opportunity to bathe in the river. I took off my wig and I jumped into the river. While there I bathed in the river for half an hour. All the heat has gone down. While telling the second story, Sunil Lahiri said - In one scene Nishad Raj and Arya Sumant were sitting and talking.
There was quite an intense scene. Then, while sitting down, Nishad Raj's dhoti was torn. The serious atmosphere on the set turned into a sudden laugh. Everyone started laughing out loud. Funny comments of people are coming on this disclosure by Sunil Lahiri. Talking about the Ramayana, there is a tremendous craze of religious shows in lockdown. Ramayana is being seen the most among all shows. When Ramayana was telecasted on Doordarshan, the show made several records in TRP.
