Shyam Sundar Kalani, who played Sugriva and Bali in Ramanand Sagar's Ramayana, recently said goodbye to the world. In an interview, Sita i.e. Deepika Chikhaliya remembered Kalani of this show. Kalani did not speak his dialogues himself on the show. Rather they were dubbed.

'Shyamji mostly lived in masks'

Whereas I had a lot of talk with Dara Singh. With this, Shyamji used to live mostly in masks. Even he did not speak his dialogues himself. Due to his magical personality, he had to remain on screen. Had to adjust with diet

According to Deepika, Kalani had to adjust a lot with her diet on the set. She says, "Sometimes I used to be amazed at the way he spoke. He used to say that I want so much eggs, so much milk. Also, eggs were not allowed on the set of 'Ramayana' and eventually Shyamji Really had to adjust with my diet. "Deepika," I could not understand their language. Because of this we did not speak much. Died on 29 March
A news paper quoted Kalani's nephew Kamal Madnani as saying that he breathed his last on March 29 (Sunday). He had been battling cancer for a long time. Kalani lived in the Kalka Housing Board Colony in Pinjore, Haryana. Currently, the industry was able to get this news after about 10 days due to the lockdown.
