Bhopal: Rameshwar Gurjar, who has been sensational on social media for the past few days due to his fast-moving race, failed to repeat his performance in the trial. Rameswar Gurjar of Madhya Pradesh, who completed the 100-metre race in just 11 seconds, was called the 'Usain Bolt' of the state due to his feat. His test was taken by the Sports Authority of India. He had raced with six other players but was the last. He finished the race in 12.90 seconds. It is a very poor performance. Union Sports Minister Kiran Rijiju tweeted this.

His trial was conducted at the Academy at Tapya Tope Nagar in Bhopal. The national record of 100 meters in India is 10.26 seconds. "Rameshwar Gurjar's trial was held at the TT Nagar Stadium where SAI and state government coaches were present. Rameshwar was running on the left most (Lane 9) in the video. With the headlines coming in, the pressure of the performance was so much that he could not perform well. We will give them enough time and training.

Rameshwar Gurjar, who failed in the trials, said he ran on the track for the first time wearing shoes. He also had pain in his groin. For that reason, he was left behind. He will come back to trial a month later and perform better. Gurjar is a resident of Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh. The video surfaced of him running barefoot to complete the 100-meter race in 11 seconds. It went viral on social media. Centre and state government assure Gurjar of all possible help.
