New Delhi: Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan's funeral will be held in Patna today.  According to the information, he will be cremated at 10 am. He passed away on Thursday evening after a prolonged illness. Ram Vilas Paswan, 74, was hospitalized for several days. His dead body arrived in Patna from Delhi at 5 pm on Friday evening. A huge crowd of supporters gathered at the airport for Ram Vilas Paswan's last visit.

However, the mortal of Ram Vilas Paswan has been kept in the office of Lok Janshakti Party (LOJPA) in Patna, where people are reaching for the last visit. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar pays tributes to Ram Vilas Paswan.  Chirag Paswan and his mother were also present there. All the leaders of Bihar had gathered for Ram Vilas Paswan's last visit. Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi were also present. Former deputy CM Ratan Yadav also paid homage to the late leader at the party office.

Ram Vilas Paswan, who started his political career with Lalu Prasad Yadav and Nitish Kumar in the 70s, was elected from the Arauli seat for the first time in 1969. He never let himself be irrelevant. Paswan, who won the Lok Sabha elections for the first time in 1977, has been a 9-time Lok Sabha member.
