Ranbir Kapoor is currently shooting for Rajkumar Hirani directorial film Sanjay Dutt's biopic. For the film, he has put on a good 13 kgs to look like Sanju Baba. 

Also there are rumours of Ranbir soon will make his television debut by hosting the opening episode of Nach Baliye 8. The organizers too has confirmed that, "Ranbir Kapoor will be perfect for the grand opening episode of Nach Baliye 8. We are very excited and have our fingers crossed to see Ranbir Kapoor set the stage on fire with his dance and stage presence as host! Ranbir is a natural dancer and he will surely set a benchmark for the 10 jodis and prep them up for the entire season. If things go as planned, we might be shooting later this week." 

However Ranbir's spokesperson has clearly denied the news by saying, "Ranbir is not doing any TV show, he's not even in talks for any show. These rumours are completely baseless. Ranbir has been busy with the shooting of Dutt biopic."
