Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's movie Brahmastra is called for Boycott due to their old statements. This year many big-budget Bollywood called for boycott which directly affect their Box office collection. Now Ranbir opens up on Boycott Trends and is these trends affect the movie’s collection. The actor said, "I'll give my own example. I don't want to speak about other films. I had a film release a month-and-a-half ago, Shamshera. I didn't feel any negativity about it"
The actor further added, "If the film didn't run at the box office, it's only because the audience didn't like the film. Eventually, it's about the content. If you make a good film, entertain people, of course they will go to the cinema and watch your films. They want to feel that different emotion, connect with characters and get entertained. So, if a film doesn't work, it is not for any other reason but because the content is not good. That's what I feel is the true answer."
Recently, Alia Bhatt and director Ayan Mukerji reached Ujjain on Tuesday for the promotion of the film Brahmastra. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal activists started protesting outside the temple when the duo with the team arrived at the main and conch gates of the Mahakaal temple. In a viral video, protesters were heard saying, 'Anti-Hindu' Alia Bhatt and 'Beef eater' Ranbir Kapoor Could not defile the Mahakal temple after the uproar by Hindu Lions. The duo left without entering the temple.
Speaking of Shamshera, It is directed by Karan Malhotra, was mounted on a lavish budget of ₹150 crores but could only muster around ₹64 crore at the box office, becoming one of Ranbir’s career’s biggest failures. The film also starred Sanjay Dutt and Vani Kapoor.
