He wanted to marry Manvi. For this, he proposed to Manvi. That's when Manvi came to know that the person she considered a friend had lied to her. In fact, the owner of the institute had given her his name as Yash. Whereas, his real name is Tanvir Akhtar Khan. When the girl came to know about all this, she broke the friendship with him. This did not go down well with Tanvir. Now he started pressuring her to get married and change her religion. But Manavi hated him. So she turned down Tanveer's proposal. Then the matter reached Blamelling. Tanvir started blackmailing Manvi. Actually, there were some personal photos of Manavi near him. He started pressurising them to get married by threatening to make them viral. Troubled by this, Manvi left Ranchi city. She shifted to Mumbai. But Tanveer, madly in one-sided love, did not stop chasing her here either. He continued to threaten her. Fed up, Manvi filed a case against Tanvir at Versova police station.

The victim told the police that she became friends with Tanveer Khan, the owner of the grooming institute in Ranchi. In the first meeting, Tanveer had revealed his name as Yash. But, later he came to know that his real name is Tanveer and not Yash. In fact, young models are taught the nuances of modeling at the Grooming Institute. How to look at them, how to talk. Also, some institutes offer modeling assignments. The victim told the police that Tanveer took some pictures of her by feeding her drugs on Holi due to friendship. After this, Tanveer started blackmailing her and the process of assault also started. The culprit, Tanveer, started pressuring her to change her religion and get married. Upset, she came to Mumbai. But even then he continued to blackmail her.

When the matter reached the police, Tanveer accepted his mistake and started asking the victim to take it back. Tanveer Khan, in an affidavit given in the court, admitted that he used to harass her. But, his intention was not to harm her in any way. He used to do this to create pressure, so that both could stay together. In addition, in the same affidavit, he has admitted that he will not do anything like this again. But, even after this, he is doing such things. The victim has also uploaded a video on her Twitter account and sought protection from Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren. The police are investigating the matter seriously. According to the police, further action will be taken based on the investigation. The case has been transferred from Mumbai to Ranchi. But, the police have not taken any strong action so far.
