New Delhi: Delhi AIIMS Director Dr Randeep Guleria has said that the corona virus is yet to be predicted as to how the virus will behave in the coming days, but it will not be mute as fast in the coming months. According to the same serosurvey, there is enough immunity in the population.

He said that, if for the next few months, until a large part of our population is vaccinated, we should avoid congestion, unnecessary travel and maintain covid-appropriate behaviour. He further said that, if we take care of these things, we can stop the third wave of corona. Talking about immunization of children, he said, "I believe that the vaccine will be available to children in the country by September."

The Union Health Ministry said on Friday that more than 2.75 crore COVID-19 vaccine doses are still available with states, Union Territories and private hospitals. States and Union Territories have so far been given more than 43.87 crore vaccine doses through all sources. The government has said that 71,40,000 vaccine supplements still exist in the pipeline. The total vaccine consumption with vestige is 41,12,30,353 doses. The new phase of COVID-19 vaccination to vaccinate all began on June 21.
