Chandigarh: Randeep Surjewala and State Congress President Kumari Sailja said that SC, BC and tribals' right to reservation in jobs cannot be taken away. At the same time, it is a fundamental right according to Article 15 (4), 16 (4) of the Constitution. The oppression of these sections has become the DNA of BJP governments. The BJP government has launched the biggest ever attack to snatch the officers of SC / ST, OBC and tribals. SLP was inserted in the Supreme Court on 14 November 2019 in the State of Uttarakhand vs Avadhesh Kumar case. Under which the Supreme Court has not considered reservation in jobs as a fundamental right.

Surjewala said that the Supreme Court cannot decide whether to give reservation in jobs or not. Even before the Bihar elections on reservation, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and Manmohan Vaidya had said the need for reconsideration. Now the water has passed above the head. At the same time, no one can take away the fundamental rights of anyone. PM Narendra Modi should sack the CM of Uttarakhand, during whose reign the SLP was inserted in the Supreme Court. This is not possible without the consent of the top leadership of the BJP. People associated with Congress have filed a review petition in this case. He appeals to the central government and the PM to cancel the decision of the Supreme Court.

It is also being said that it is necessary to repeal it, since the implementation of the Supreme Decision that came on 7 February 2020 will depend on the state governments whether they want to give reservation to these classes in jobs. Sailja said that on 16 February 2020, he will protest against this at district headquarters across the state. DC will be given memorandum. Which will be demanded to be sent to the President through the Governor.
