Amid the lockdown and the Corona crisis, Congress Party leader Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary has appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to help migrant workers trapped in various states and union territories across the country.

In his statement further, Chaudhary said that he is getting calls from migrants from West Bengal and especially people stranded from different regions from his constituency, Baharampur. Please tell that to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, many workers are stuck in other states due to the ongoing lockdown in the country.

For your information, let us tell you that in a letter written to the Prime Minister on Wednesday, Chaudhary said that people are stuck without food, water, medicine and even air to breathe. Without ventilation, a large number of people are forced to remain locked inside the room, where the mercury has reached 41 degrees Celsius. At the same, he further said that I request you to request our Indian citizens to think of some possible solutions to help them return to their homes after this period.
