Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan starrer Simmba has been released on Friday and the film is garnering great appreciation from critics as well as audience. Simmba got a brilliant start and doing well at the box office. Director Rohit Shetty's Simmba has turned out to be a phenomenal success at the box office. In just 5 days,  it garnered great footfalls and earned Rs 124.54 crore and became the ninth highest grosser of the year.

Rohit Shetty’s Mass entertainer took ninth spot by beating films like Raazi, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Gold and Raid. Looking to response of the audience, the film is expected to cross the business of Badhaai Ho and Stree today to grab the 7th spot at the ticket windows. Since there is no release this week, the film is expected to continue its dominance at the box office.

Simmba stars Sara Ali Khan, Sonu Sood, Vaidehi Parshurami and Siddharth Jadhav in pivotal roles. The film has received positive reviews from all around the corners.
