A shocking and shameful incident comes to light from the Panchmahal rural police on Saturday where a sadhu named Ramakrishna Kumar raped a married woman inside the temple on the pretext of helping her to conceive chid. He was arrested on charges of rape on Saturday.
As per the Police officer Inspector R.R. Barot. the victim had lodged a complaint on Friday. The victim in her statement claimed that she is married for the last 10 years, but could not conceive. So she was regularly paying visit to the Ram Tekri Temple in Timbi Asharam, Godhra. As per her statement “She came in touch with Krishnakumar, a sadhu, who promised to help her in conceiving a child."
The victim claims that she had called her two to three times in the name of some religious rituals, which will help her conceive.The incident took place on Friday, when the accused Sadhu had again called the woman on the pretext of some religious ritual, but he raped her when she reached his place.
Earlier in a similar incident a Sadhu committed suicide after his chats and video clip exposing him went viral. The Sadhu is identified as Ramkrushnanand aka Rajbhart. The incident is reported from Gujarat. According to the information, Ramkrushnanand took the extreme step as since the last few days, a letter exposing him and his activities went viral. Not only this his audio, video and sex chat clips were in also circulated to Expose him. According to Junagadh Taluka police station sources said that Rajbharti committed suicide at his farm in Khadia village by shooting himself with his licensed weapon. After this the police officials have registered a case and have begun an investigation.
