Lucknow: Two minor girls were allegedly raped at a wedding ceremony in Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor district, police said on Sunday. The incident caused chaos in the police administration. The police rushed to the spot. The police have sent both the girls for medical examination. At the same time, the dog squad and forensic team reached the spot and started investigating.  

According to media reports, this case is from a village under Sherkot police station area. On Saturday night, the marriage procession came from the village of Nahator police station. Two innocent girls suddenly disappeared from the wedding ceremony during the climb. The two could not be traced till late at night. After a lot of searching, both of them were found lying in the field in an inebriated condition about half a kilometer away from the wedding ceremony.  

Seeing this, the ground beneath the feet of the family members of the girls slipped. The family members informed the police about the incident. This caused chaos in the administration. On receiving the information, other police officers including ASP Dhampur Dharam Singh started investigating the spot. The two girls were sent to Bijnor for medical examination and started investigation.
