Recently, a case of crime has come to light from Vaishali Nagar police station in Jaipur. According to reports, When police refused to take action on a rape victim plea, she sat on fire. 

According to information received in the case, the deceased rape victim alleged that "the police is not taking any action on the accused and pressurising her to withdraw the case."

It also reported that when woman reached to police attention with her 13 year old son and pressured police to do the action, but when they did not listen, she sent his son out of the police station and set herself on fire. In this case, it is reported that "she was burnt by 75 per cent." Several police constables were also injured in the rescue.

At the same time, the wife of a retired Army jawan alleges that "her husband's relative Ravindra Singh used to come to her house and once took her along and raped her along with his friend." The deputy SP had summoned her to the police station and forced him to withdraw the case and to persuade him. "The husband alleges that "the wife went to the police station every third day to take action but was wrongly proved and sent back to the police station."

The victim's husband said that after the case was registered, the accused threatened them. All the recordings of the threat were given to the investigating officer but the police did not take any action.
