New Delhi: The heat wave has started in most of the states of North India. The temperature is increasing rapidly and people have started cleaning ACs and coolers. In the country's capital Delhi, the sun is getting hotter and it is believed that the heat will wreak havoc on Holi. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature can reach 36 degree Celsius till Holi. At the same time, the minimum temperature is likely to be 18 to 19 degree Celsius.

According to IMD, on the day of Holi, the weather of Delhi will be very clear and there will be strong sunlight. Today's minimum temperature of Delhi is likely to be 17 degree Celsius, while the maximum temperature may remain up to 36 degree Celsius. At the same time, the mercury has started rising rapidly in North India. From Uttar Pradesh to Punjab, Jammu, Uttarakhand, the temperature is increasing rapidly. However, due to the effect of Western Disturbance and moisture in the atmosphere, it is raining at some places.

Last year, March was the hottest month in 121 years in terms of maximum temperature. According to the Meteorological Department, in March last year, the monthly average maximum temperature was 32.6 °C and the minimum temperature was 19.95 °C and 26.30 °C. In the year 2021, the temperature in March was recorded above 40 degree Celsius in many parts of the country. In such a situation, the question arises whether the temperature record will be broken again in March this year.
