The scientist of the Central Marine Fisheries Institute, Dr. Jeyabaskaran, told this time, 'When we first saw it, it was hidden in the grass. It was not known whether he was a fish or a small piece of stone, but after four seconds when he changed his body color to black, it was understood that it is a rare scorpionfish. 'Scorpionfish change color only when hunting or protecting them from predators. This fish that specializes in color change is also very poisonous. Poison remains in its spinal cord. It takes extreme care to catch it, otherwise it pours poison in an instant. Its poison is neurotoxic, which causes terrible pain if it goes into the human body.

According to scientists in this regard, Scorpionfish that live in the depths of the sea hunts at night. She waits in one place and waits for the first victim to come and attacks her as soon as she comes and eats her up. According to Dr. Jeyabaskaran, this rare fish has been sent to the National Marine Biodiversity Museum, so that it can be studied in depth. A scientific report about this fish has been published in the journal Current Science.
