His passion for creating something new with the designs and taking the culture of Iran to much greater heights with its unique products had motivated him to start his journey at the naive age of only 18 years. In a country like Iran, which is well-known across the world for its artistic and cultural backgrounds and phenomena, one of the things which have proved the aboriginal talents of the people in the region has been their talent and skills in creating handicrafts and other traditional arts.
However, since times have changed and creativity not only has remained important for the work of art that people produce but also is essential today in many other aspects of creating momentum for that art; branding has become equally crucial, which helps the art form reach the world and helps people in the region get their due and credit. This is where Ehsan wishes to make a change. As an Iranian handicraft designer and a passionate soul for creative designs; he has taken the first step in the field of innovation and much better economic conditions to take Iranian handicrafts on a global level with combining the designs with modern culture, putting the focus also on the needs of the day in the 21st century.
Ehsan has also pointed out the challenges that Iranian artists face for entering the global markets. People across other countries have used Iranian designs and have sold them as their own creation, which according to Ehsan has, even more, necessitated Iranian artists to come forward as one and collaborate and take efforts to brand their products. To make that awe-inspiring and perfect piece of Persian carpet takes long hours of hard work and creativity. Hence, one must take the right steps to give the artists their deserved credit and improve upon the economy of the nation.
Ehsan Mohammadi can't emphasize enough on the necessity for branding and marketing of Iranian handicrafts which is the face of the Iranian culture and heritage for the craftsmen to gain the respect, credibility and due from global markets as well, which they truly deserve.
