TV actress Ratan Rajput is not seen on any show these days, but she is associated with her fans. She does not let any chance of connecting with her fans. In this sequence, she wished her fans for 'Chhath'. The festival of Chhath Puja has started from 18 November. This festival is dedicated to Lord Suryadev and Chhath Mata. During this fast, Sashthi Maa or Chhath Maiya are worshipped with Suryadev.
Shashti Mata protects the children and makes them healthy, longevity. This festival is celebrated with great faith and devotion in Bihar, Jharkhand and eastern Uttar Pradesh. Ratan Rajput wished the fans for Chhath festival. She has also told about the ritual of this festival. Speaking to a website recently, she said, "Men and women who follow the ritual of Chhath Puja fast take a holy dip in the river, they fast and make offerings to the sun during sunrise and sunset. On the first day of the fast, people get up early, bathe, wear a traditional dress and take a pledge that they will observe this fast with full devotion and honesty. In this fast one cannot drink water for 36 hours and family members have to prepare satvik food and sweets. I like this festival very much. I'm missing home."
Ratan Rajput is from Patna and during the lockdown, she was trapped in a village. During that time, she shared many photos and videos from there and told the fans how her experience of cooking food and storing heat on the stove in the village.
