Ratan Tata said this on the demand for 'Bharat Ratna'

New Delhi: Ratan Tata himself has reacted to the demand of Bharat Ratna to Tata Group Chairman and noted industrialist Ratan Tata. Some time ago, a campaign started on Twitter to demand Bharat Ratna, in which PM Modi was requested to give Bharat Ratna to Ratan Tata. Following the tweeting, the hashtags of Ratan Tata and #BharatRatnaForRatanTata on Twitter had hit the top trend.

Now Ratan Tata's statement on this campaign has come out. Tata tweeted, "I appreciate the sentiments expressed by a section of people on social media for an award, but I humbly request that such campaigns be discontinued. Instead, I consider myself fortunate to be an Indian and able to contribute to the progress and prosperity of India.

The demand for Ratan Tata to be given the Bharat Ratna was very strong when Motivational speaker Dr Vivek Bindra tweeted, 'Ratan Tata believes that today's generation of entrepreneurs can bring India at the next level. We demand India's highest industrialist Ratan Tata to be awarded the country's highest civilian award, the Bharat Ratna. Please join this campaign. ' Following this tweet, the demand for the Bharat Ratna to Tata had gained momentum.
