Very enjoyable Sarabhai vs Sarabhai Take 2 has ended but unlike season 1, the show received mixed reactions from their fans.

When Maya Sarabhai aka Ratna Pathak Shah was asked about getting mixed response the comedy show, she said, "Of course, people are going to have mixed opinions. We didn't expect everyone to love it, hate it or whatever. Yes, I have seen some of the episodes, not all so far and I do feel something's work and something doesn't. But what I really enjoyed was shooting it. It was extremely good fun and the script was still extremely well-written. The five of us were able to slip into our roles quite comfortably again."

The actress stated, "I would give it a little more time before passing any real comment or any judgement on how the season 2 has worked out. But yes I know, there have been conflicting opinions. But by large, the people I meet, anywhere I go, airports or wherever I am, I find that a lot of people come up to me and say they love it. So, I don't know, the jury is still out."

On doing more TV shows, Ratna said, "Of this type (like Sarabhai vs Sarabhai) yes, soap operas no."
